Optional Excursion Recommended: Nativo Experience, Lakes and Caverns
It is an excursion in 4×4 along the coast of Lake Argentino. Ideal for the day of arrival or departure, it has an anthropological approach, making a tour at the time about the passing of man in these lands, rediscovering the stories of the first expeditions and daring that ventured into the unknown.
Between the cliffs and overlooking the Andes Mountains, the excursion focuses on the first contacts of those expeditionaries with the natives, and then enter the Tehuelche world.
On the banks of the lake are the caves where thousands of years ago that culture left its marks on the rock and that today induce us to its interpretation. Finally, the excursion culminates in another cave where lunch or dinner is included that will transport us to those remote years.
Today we dedicate the day to one of the world’s most awe-inspiring natural wonders: the Perito Moreno Glacier.
This glacier, classified as an ice field-type, flows down from the Southern Patagonian Icefield—an enormous mass of ice covering around 22,000 square kilometers, making it the third largest in the world after Antarctica and Greenland. Thanks to rare and favorable local conditions, Perito Moreno is the only glacier on the planet that still advances and undergoes dramatic rupture cycles. The road takes us right to the glacier’s front, where you’ll be just meters away from its towering ice wall. The deep rumbles of falling ice, the thunderous crashes as massive chunks break off into the lake, and the vibrant blues of the ice create an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Later, we head to Bajo de las Sombras port, where we board a catamaran and navigate across Lago Rico. From the water, you'll enjoy a privileged view of the glacier’s immense face and floating icebergs—an even more striking perspective of this natural wonder. After this unforgettable day, we return to our accommodation in El Calafate.
In the evening, we’ll share a delicious home-cooked dinner in a cozy, friendly setting.
Each dish is lovingly prepared with fresh local ingredients — the kind of comfort food that warms your heart. The menu is paired with specially selected wines from Patagonian and Argentine wineries, designed to complement the flavors of each course in perfect harmony.
There are four fixed menus to choose from: two traditional ones inspired by regional cuisine and crafted with native ingredients, and two vegetarian/vegan options — full of creativity and flavor, using organic produce from local farms.
A real taste of Patagonia to close the day on a high note. After dinner, we’ll return to our accommodation to rest.

Meals: Breakfast, Box Lunch, Dinner
We start the day with a hearty breakfast at Camp, surrounded by breathtaking views of Mount Fitz Roy as the morning light begins to illuminate the peaks—an unforgettable way to begin the adventure.
From the campsite, we begin the ascent to Laguna de los Tres, one of the most iconic and rewarding treks in Los Glaciares National Park. The trail starts with a gentle walk through native lenga forest before reaching the base of the final climb—a steep, rocky section that ascends about 400 meters over the course of one hour.
This challenging stretch requires effort, but the breathtaking views at the top make it all worthwhile. Laguna de los Tres offers a front-row seat to the majestic Mount Fitz Roy, its surrounding spires, and the glacial waters below. The panoramic scenery is among the most stunning in Patagonia.
After enjoying time to rest, take photos, and admire the view, we descend the same way to our accommodation at El Chalten.
