After breakfast, we set out to explore two of Rio’s most iconic landmarks and enjoy the city’s natural beauty from above.
We begin with a visit to Sugarloaf Mountain, one of the most recognized symbols of Rio de Janeiro. A scenic ride in glass cable cars takes us first to Urca Hill (215 m), offering breathtaking views of Guanabara Bay and its islands. From there, a second cable car takes us to the summit of Sugarloaf (395 m), where we’ll enjoy panoramic views of the city, including Copacabana, Botafogo, and the surrounding coastline.
After descending, we stop for a memorable lunch at Assador, a stylish and modern Brazilian steakhouse overlooking the bay. Here, we’ll enjoy a traditional rodizio experience featuring premium cuts like picanha, lamb chops, and tomahawk steak, alongside fresh salads, charcuterie, and Brazilian cheeses. Don't miss their signature prime ribs, grilled for over 10 hours!
In the afternoon, we head to the base of Corcovado Hill and board the scenic train that winds its way through Tijuca Forest up to the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue, standing 2,300 ft above sea level. Recently named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, the statue offers unforgettable views of Rio and its stunning geography.
After taking in the scenery and capturing plenty of photos, we return to the hotel to rest and enjoy the evening at leisure.
