7 Days Argentina and Chile tour Perito Moreno glacier and Torres del Paine
This journey takes you deep into the heart of Patagonia, connecting two emblematic towns that lie on opposite sides of the Andes: El Calafate in Argentina and Puerto Natales in Chile.
In El Calafate, explore the world-famous Perito Moreno Glacier, a breathtaking mass of ice that seems frozen in time, yet constantly alive. You’ll walk along panoramic trails that bring you up close to its immense icy walls—and, if you’re up for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, you can even trek on its surface.
Beyond the glacier, you’ll have free time to explore the rich traditions of Patagonia: visit a remote estancia to learn about ranch life, or take an optional day trip to El Chaltén, Argentina’s trekking capital. And don't miss the chance to enjoy Patagonian cuisine—from tender lamb to artisan chocolates and craft beer.
Across the border, in Puerto Natales, a charming fishing town with stunning views of the fjords, you'll find the gateway to Torres del Paine National Park. This remote outpost serves as the perfect base to discover one of South America’s most iconic landscapes: a surreal mix of glaciers, granite towers, turquoise lakes, and windswept pampas.
From the vast ice fields to jagged peaks, this journey is a celebration of Patagonia’s raw, untamed beauty—seen from both sides of the Andes.

Today we dedicate the day to one of the world’s most awe-inspiring natural wonders: the Perito Moreno Glacier.
This glacier, classified as an ice field-type, flows down from the Southern Patagonian Icefield—an enormous mass of ice covering around 22,000 square kilometers, making it the third largest in the world after Antarctica and Greenland.
Thanks to rare and favorable local conditions, Perito Moreno is the only glacier on the planet that still advances and undergoes dramatic rupture cycles. The road takes us right to the glacier’s front, where you’ll be just meters away from its towering ice wall. The deep rumbles of falling ice, the thunderous crashes as massive chunks break off into the lake, and the vibrant blues of the ice create an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Later, we head to Bajo de las Sombras port, where we board a catamaran and navigate across Lago Rico. From the water, you'll enjoy a privileged view of the glacier’s immense face and floating icebergs—an even more striking perspective of this natural wonder.
After this unforgettable day, we return to our accommodation in El Calafate.
