7-day tour Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile

Day 1  - Arrival Buenos Aires 

After landing at Buenos Aires Airport, you'll get picked up and head to your hotel in the city center. The afternoon is open for you to wander around and get a feel for the city at your own pace. Come evening, you'll sit down for a five-course Argentine dinner with wine cocktails where you'll make empanadas, try traditional meats and tenderloin, and finish with desserts while meeting other travelers on the same dinner.

Day 2 - Sightseeing in Buenos Aires – Tango Show

This morning starts with a half-day city tour mixing driving and walking through Buenos Aires' main spots like Plaza de Mayo and La Boca neighborhood. You'll get out of the vehicle to check out key locations at your own pace.

Later in the evening, you'll head to San Telmo for a tango show in a historic tenement building with over 30 performers and a live orchestra backing the performance.

Day 3 - Buenos Aires

The day is completely free. You can explore Buenos Aires on your own, or if you're interested, there's an optional excursion to San Antonio de Areco ranch. That option includes seeing traditional Argentine Creole culture, folklore demonstrations, gaucho skills and sports, plus a countryside barbecue lunch.

Day 4 - Departure Buenos Aires - Arrival Santiago de Chile

Transfer to Buenos Aires Airport this morning for your domestic flight to Santiago de Chile. Once you land and get settled at your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to explore Santiago however you like.

Day 5 - Sightseeing Santiago de Chile

A guided tour takes you through Santiago's city center, hitting Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, Central Postal Office, Municipality, and Moneda Palace. From there, you'll head up Santa Lucia hill for views and some history, then move to Barrio Lastarria for culture and food. The afternoon takes you through the financial district called 'Sanhattan' with its modern glass skyscrapers and sculptures. After that, you'll return to your hotel with the evening free.

Day 6 - Vina del mar y Valparaiso

You'll travel to Viña del Mar to see the architecture, palaces, and the famous Flower Clock. Lunch happens at a beachfront restaurant where you can try seafood and take in Pacific Ocean views. Then it's on to Valparaíso, a UNESCO World Heritage site, to see Cerro Alegre with colorful funiculars and multi-colored neighborhoods. You'll visit Sotomayor Square and the Monument of the Heroes of Iquique, and there's an optional boat tour around the bay if you want to see more of the colorful hills from the water.

Day 7 - Departure Santiago de Chile

Transfer to Santiago de Chile's airport at your scheduled time, where the tour services end and your trip wraps up.
