Domestic Flight from Buenos Aires (AEP / EZE) to Puerto Iguazu (IGR) is not included.

  • Today we will explore the Argentine side of Iguazú Falls, where we’ll experience breathtaking views from multiple angles and perspectives.

After entering through the Visitor Center, we’ll begin a series of scenic walks through the lush jungle. This environment, rich in colors, aromas, and biodiversity, offers a rare opportunity to connect with one of the world’s most endangered biomes.

The walkways take us to spectacular viewpoints and bring us closer to the local wildlife. Keep your eyes open for dragonflies, butterflies, and beetles, as well as curious coatis and monkeys. Bird lovers will enjoy spotting magpies, black vultures, and toucans—and on lucky days, even a shy capybara, a roe deer, or a distant puma might make an appearance from the forest’s edge.

A ride on the park’s narrow-gauge ecological train completes the experience, connecting the three main circuits: Lower Trail, Upper Trail, and the impressive Devil’s Throat.

This unforgettable day is led by expert local guides who share stories, legends, and insights that enrich our visit to this UNESCO World Heritage Site—one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Optional experiences like a thrilling boat ride under the falls or a jungle safari can be added to elevate your adventure even more.

The walk ends at the powerful Floriano Fall, where you can get up close to the roaring water and feel the mist on your face — a perfect finale to this unforgettable experience.

If you’re looking to add a touch of wildlife to your day, we highly recommend a visit to the Bird Park (optional tour – not included). It’s home to hundreds of native and exotic bird species in a beautiful subtropical setting, and a great way to round out your visit to the park.

    Included Meals: Breakfast

Domestic Flight from Puerto Iguazu (IGR) to Salta (SLA) is no included.

  • After breakfast, we begin an unforgettable journey through the Lerma Valley, driving past tobacco fields and small colonial towns — including Alemania, once the final stop of the historic Belgrano Railway.

As we enter the Quebrada del Río Las Conchas, the landscape becomes the main character. Here, time, wind, and water have carved spectacular rock formations with unique names and shapes: The Toad, The Bishop, The Devil’s Throat, The Castles, and the famous Amphitheater, among others. Each stop invites us to marvel at nature’s creativity and take unforgettable photos.

We continue along National Route 68 until we reach Cafayate, the youngest city in the Calchaquí Valleys, world-renowned for its high-altitude wines. The region’s signature varietal is Torrontés, a crisp, aromatic white wine that you’ll have the chance to taste during visits to local wineries — whether small artisanal producers or larger, industrial-style bodegas.

In the afternoon, we make our way back to Salta, taking with us the flavors, colors, and silence of this magical valley.

    Included Meals: Breakfast

  • After breakfast, we set off early for a day filled with breathtaking landscapes and some of the most iconic spots in northern Argentina.

We begin by traveling along a scenic route that runs parallel to the Train to the Clouds railway, through the striking Quebrada del Toro. As we continue, we begin our ascent into the high Andes until we reach the town of San Antonio de los Cobres, sitting at an impressive 4,080 meters above sea level. There, we take a break for lunch and enjoy some of the traditional dishes offered in this remote mountain village.

Back on the road, we travel along part of the legendary Route 40, crossing into the province of Jujuy and arriving at the Salinas Grandes — an immense, dazzling white salt flat that stretches as far as the eye can see. A truly surreal and spectacular sight.

We then begin our descent along the winding Cuesta de Lipán, where it's common to spot condors soaring above the cliffs, and finally arrive at the picturesque village of Purmamarca, nestled at the foot of the famous Hill of Seven Colors.

Tonight, we stay in Purmamarca, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere and vibrant beauty of this magical place.

Lodging in Purmamarca - Double or Single Base

  • Leaving from Purmamarca, we begin our journey through the spectacular Quebrada de Humahuaca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rich cultural heritage and dramatic landscapes.

Along the way, we pass the Posta de Hornillos, a historic colonial post, and continue toward Tilcara, one of the most emblematic towns in the region. The route then takes us to Huacalera, where we cross the Tropic of Capricorn, and from there we can admire the colorful slopes of the “Pollera de la Colla” hill, named for its layered, skirt-like appearance. We stop in Uquía, a small village with a mystical atmosphere, to visit its colonial-era church, home to the famous “Arcabucero Angels” — unique religious paintings from the Cuzco School that blend Catholic and Andean traditions.

Our next stop is Humahuaca, a historic town with cobbled streets and deep indigenous and colonial roots. There, we visit the Cathedral and the impressive Monument to Independence (El Indio), created by the sculptor Soto Avendaño.

After lunch, we begin our journey back, passing the town of Maimará, framed by the striking colors of the “Paleta del Pintor” (Painter’s Palette), a natural rock formation that lives up to its name.

By late afternoon, we arrive once again in the city of Salta, carrying with us the spirit, stories, and colors of the Andean North.

  • The city of Salta definitely deserves a full day to explore and enjoy at your own pace. With its elegant colonial architecture, lively plazas, and rich cultural offerings, it’s a wonderful place to slow down and soak in the northern vibe.

We highly recommend visiting the Museum of High Mountain Archaeology (MAAM), located right on the main square. It houses the famous Inca mummies found on Mount Llullaillaco and offers a fascinating look into the region’s ancestral history.

Or, if you're up for another adventure, you might want to take a full-day excursion to Cachi. This peaceful village, nestled deep in the Calchaquí Valleys, is surrounded by spectacular landscapes, cactus-dotted hills, and winding mountain roads — a true hidden gem of Northwest Argentina.
