After breakfast, we set out to explore the most iconic landmarks of Rio de Janeiro and enjoy its breathtaking natural beauty from above.
Our first stop is the world-famous Sugarloaf Mountain (Pão de Açúcar), one of the most recognized symbols of the city. Located on a peninsula at the entrance of Guanabara Bay, its name comes from its resemblance to the traditional shape of refined sugar loaves.
The ascent is an experience in itself: we take a glass cable car up to Urca Hill, 215 meters above sea level, where we’re welcomed with panoramic views of Rio and its surrounding islands. From there, we board a second cable car that takes us to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain, standing at 395 meters. From the summit, we enjoy a 360-degree view over Copacabana and Botafogo beaches, Corcovado, and the city skyline—a moment that will stay etched in your memory.
After descending, we make a stop for lunch at Assador, a beautifully restored traditional steakhouse with stunning views of Guanabara Bay and Sugarloaf. The atmosphere is rustic-chic, and the gastronomic experience is top-notch. Here, you'll enjoy an authentic rodizio with prime cuts like picanha, tomahawk, lamb chops, and their unforgettable ribs, slow-grilled for 10 hours. Accompanied by a curated buffet of salads, charcuterie, and Brazilian cheeses, this is a celebration of local flavor not to be missed.
In the afternoon, we head to the base of Corcovado Hill to visit the Christ the Redeemer, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. We board the scenic train that winds through the lush Tijuca Forest until we reach the summit, where the 30-meter statue of Christ welcomes us with open arms. Take the elevator or escalators to the viewpoint and prepare for one of the most breathtaking vistas in all of Brazil—an unforgettable way to cap off the day.
After the visit, we return to our hotel with our hearts (and camera rolls) full.

Optional Excursion Recomended: “Nativo Experience – Lakes and Caves with Lunch or Dinner"
It is an excursion in 4×4 along the coast of Lake Argentino. Ideal for the day of arrival or departure, it has an anthropological approach, making a tour at the time about the passing of man in these lands, rediscovering the stories of the first expeditions and daring that ventured into the unknown.
Between the cliffs and overlooking the Andes Mountains, the excursion focuses on the first contacts of those expeditionaries with the natives, and then enter the Tehuelche world. On the banks of the lake are the caves where thousands of years ago that culture left its marks on the rock and that today induce us to its interpretation. Finally, the excursion culminates in another cave where lunch or dinner is included that will transport us to those remote years.
Today is fully dedicated to one of the World’s Natural Wonders: the Perito Moreno Glacier.
This impressive ice colossus descends from the Southern Patagonian Ice Field — a massive expanse of ice covering over 22,000 square kilometers, making it the third-largest ice mass on the planet after Antarctica and Greenland.
Thanks to unique local conditions, Perito Moreno is the only glacier in the world that still regularly advances and ruptures. The scenic drive brings us close to the very front of the glacier, where we’ll witness its towering ice wall just meters away. The thunderous sound of cracking ice and the dramatic collapse of massive seracs into the turquoise waters of Lake Argentino create an unforgettable and awe-inspiring experience.
Later, we will head to Bajo de las Sombras port to board a catamaran that will take us across Lago Rico. From the water, you’ll get a unique perspective of the glacier’s immense face and drifting icebergs — a perfect way to end this extraordinary day immersed in the icy heart of Patagonia.
We then return to our accommodation in El Calafate.

The journey itself is an experience, traveling along the legendary Ruta 40, with breathtaking views of Lago Argentino, the vast Patagonian steppe, and Lago Viedma. Once in El Chaltén, you’ll be greeted by the imposing silhouette of Mount Fitz Roy, one of Patagonia’s most iconic peaks.
Whether you choose to do a short scenic hike, explore the town, or simply soak in the incredible views, this optional excursion offers a perfect blend of nature, adventure, and peace.

At the indicated time, we transfer to El Calafate Airport (FTE) to board our flight to our final destination: Ushuaia (USH), famously known as the city at the end of the world. Nestled between the Andes and the Beagle Channel, this remote and fascinating city marks the southernmost point of Argentina. Upon arrival, a transfer will be waiting to take us to our accommodation, where we’ll begin to soak in the unique atmosphere of Tierra del Fuego.
Lodging in Ushuaia - Double or Single Base
Included meals: Breakfast
Please note that the domestic flight from El Calafate (FTE) to Ushuaia (USH) is not included in the program
Today we venture into the legendary Tierra del Fuego National Park. Leaving the city of Ushuaia and heading southwest along National Route No. 3, we’ll travel through dramatic landscapes of lenga forests and peat bogs. After crossing the Pipo River near the Ushuaia Golf Club, we reach the station of the iconic Austral Fueguino Railway — the famous End of the World Train. There, we’ll board one of the most enchanting trains on the planet.
As the train gently winds through pristine scenery, we immerse ourselves in the unique natural beauty of Tierra del Fuego. Upon arrival, we continue by vehicle to Lake Acigami (formerly Lake Roca), a glacial lake framed by mountains and native forests, where we may spot local birdlife in its natural habitat.
The final stretch of our journey takes us to the mythical Bahía Lapataia, where the Pan-American Highway meets its end. Along the way, we pass through the cormorant archipelago, peatlands, and a beaver dam — silent witnesses of this remote wilderness.
At Lapataia Bay, we’ll walk along scenic footbridges, admire the rugged coastline teeming with mollusks and mussels, and discover traces of the Yámana people, the ancient inhabitants of this land. Standing at the southernmost edge of the Americas, we’ll take a moment to breathe in the silence and the sensation of truly being at the end of the world. Around midday, we return to the city of Ushuaia.
In the afternoon, we head to the tourist pier in Ushuaia to embark on a memorable navigation along the legendary Beagle Channel. As we sail away from the coast, the city slowly fades behind us, revealing the majestic silhouettes of the Darwin Mountain Range and the Andes towering above the southernmost city in the world.
Our first stop is Alicia Island, home to a lively colony of South American sea lions. We watch them in their natural habitat as they lounge on the rocky outcrops or play in the cold southern waters.
Next, we approach Isla de los Pájaros (Bird Island), where imperial and king cormorants nest in great numbers, creating a striking contrast against the dramatic landscape. Depending on the season, we may also observe other seabirds soaring overhead or nesting along the shores.
The navigation continues to a smaller islet where South American fur seals rest during the summer season. Very close by, we reach the iconic Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse, built in 1919, one of the most recognizable landmarks of Ushuaia.
On our way back, we disembark at Bridges Island, where we’ll enjoy a guided walk along an interpretive trail. As we explore this scenic island, we learn about the native Yámana people and observe their ancient shell middens — “concheros” — that remain as silent witnesses of their presence. From the island’s highest point, we enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Beagle Channel and Ushuaia in the distance.
After this unforgettable afternoon in the heart of Patagonia’s southern seas, we return to the port and then to our hotel.
